Default I must have got a bad batch of 20/4 braid

cause i swear that I've never thrown off as many 2 oz weights in my life as I have the last 2 days. At 3.99 for 3 of them, OUCH I know of a couple good sandbars we could chill at with some deep holes while we're waiting on some trout lines to check. Been a LONG TIME since I've ran trout lines. You not SKEERED to be on the river after dark, is ya?

Don, what kind of knot you tying that braid with? I had to change knots, lost several fish 'cause the knot was slipping, not breaking. That braid is some slippery stuff.

    Default NOT the KNOW. LOL

Lines breaking off and I've been using the same knot and same 20/4 braid to throw those 2 oz weights for 3 years. I made a tactical error last year though and put braid on my baitcast. I have a bit of a temper when it comes to cetain things and it was all I could do to not slam my rod and break it after the backlash I got on the first cast. Had to look up what know i use. Uni Knot and never had it slip on me. EVER. Even tie my leader to my fly line on with it
