DD, Check toggle switch, it will have 2 positions, straight out and a click up position. As Ps said, with switch straight out, place plastic ring over switch next to base and click toggle up. Motor will start and you are good to go.

If you don't have the cord with the plastic ring and life jacket clip, you can get one at a marine dealer.

Default I'll get one this weekend.

Really appreciate all the help. Got to get a motor support now. ALWAYS SOMETHING when you own a boat, ain't it?

    Default One I made

WB and Rip have one just like it I sent them for winning the pic contest. Just a 16th oz with a no. 2 Sickle. then took a pink tube jig, cut off the tail, One I did that, I cut off a striper jigs fork tail and stuck it on there. Gonna try it this evening to see how it works. Colors are in line with what I've been bites on at the rez so we'll see

Default Think it's YOu that keeps following me around

Wanting a GOOD LAUGH hehe We're gonna TRY IT this afternoon bud. Everytime I look thuogh, they keep upping the wind. I go to Wunderground.com and they break down the days by hours and are usually pretty close. 11 MPH and out of the East should give me about 30 or 40 yardsd to owrk with off the causeway. HOPE I can get enough room to work that dropoff. Drops from 11 or 12 to about 18 feet and that SHOULD be where they moved to. Hope anyways
