Thread: I knew it.....I FLIPPIN KNEW IT!!!!!!!

I frown on the sale of Game Fish, and i thought that was the concensus overall for this board, weather the fish came from Granada Lake or Afganistan for that matter. I just think its kinda contradictory to have an advertisement that promotes the sale of what we love to catch. Just my opinion...Like it matters.

Hey guys, Owner of Walleye Direct here. I'm sure I'll be welcomed with open arms, but what the hell here goes....

I have actually checked with MS DNR a while back and they said as long as I have receipt as to where it came from and then you have a receipt from where you got it from--all's well. It is probably illegal to sell game fish that you catch within the state so people aren't overfishing and ruining it for all the others. I'm no lawyer, just a guy trying to make a living selling some fish. I don't see why selling wild crappie from Canada is any different from selling walleye, or wild salmon from the Atlantic, or wild caught Gulf Coast shrimp, halibut, or even venison, duck. And why is farm raised fish considered better? More likely to have disease and parasites.

I thought Mississippi was good ole Republican country. What's with all the panties in a bunch over two person company selling a legally harvested abundant product that most people can't get while supporting your forum with advertising dollars?

Geez, I guess I need to get me some lobbyists and grease some skids.....maybe some welfare to tide me over while the government figures out the winners and losers.....

Fellas, just having fun with you and defending myself. I don't effect the fishing in MS one bit and might even spread the word about your sport.
