Went today and got there at around 9 am,,, a late start at best,,,, a lot of folks fishing my hole since I opened my mouth,,, Best to keep it shut I recon,,, anyway,,, Got six by high noon, real nice sized fish filled with eggs,,, Water temp was around 76 degrees and fish were in 20 ft of water,,,calm day, hardly any wind whatsoever .... All in all,,, beats work anyway!

I missed out on where your hole was. Caught 5 jigging trees from 7am-3pm. Long day.

KD,, around 12-15 ft,,, water was super clear,,,, I was spider rigging around large trees , and making passes through stumps fields,,,covering ground as much as possible around them trees and stumps,, Only drawback was,,,, I lost as many two minnows rigs as I caught fish, Dam unmarked trot lines everywhere,,,

This late into spring and with that water temp is that crazy to find fish still with eggs?? Know they all don't spawn at same time but would have never guessed fish still with eggs in Sippi now??

There not going to lay. The ones Iam catching with eggs are rotten looking. We needed rain the first two weeks of may and didn't get it. The lake was falling and they were ready to lay. They missed the window to lay in may. Bad spawn for may. April was decent. Just hope they don't stress out and die off like they did in years past.
