We have had over 4"s this am in Shelby. Was wondering how much east of here Grenada, Enid, and Sardis.

I had a little more than 2" since last night. Don't trust my rain gauge though. Judging by Bogue Creek, I'd put it closer to 3 - 3.5".

Since either last Friday or Saturday (can't remember when the heavy rain started), I've pour 9.25" of rain out of my gauge. Enid is back to her banks again now. The water at the Long Branch ramp is almost up to the point where the ramp angles into the lake! I went out this morning and the water has risen 2.5 to 3 feet since last week when I was fishing. The place I was fishing shallow at 2.5/3' is now over 6' deep, the trees I used to tie to when I got tired of fighting the wind are under the water, and the rock I used to tie my boat to when I was backing the trailer down is lost to the sea!
When out today and fished everywhere. Long Branch, Bean, and one creek that I don't know it's name. Caught more crappie than I ever have, and either lost or threw back all but two. I don't know how many I had that were between 11 and 12". Those were hard to put back in the water. I was thinking about slipping them out, and then my honest nature kicked in. Sometimes I wish I hadn't had such good parents...they like taught me stuff. Yuck!
Anyway, there's plenty of water at Enid!
There's fixin' to be even more water in Enid because it is about to storm again! Dang. My boat ain't never going to dry out.
