You do any good fish buddy? Were you at the fish fry at Jim's after the fruit jar?

Went to wolf this morning. caught 6 and the trolling motor locked up and went out at 10 o'clock.
had 1 fish about a pound or so. Very tough bite. had 2 other bites we knew of...caught all 6 on minners.
Going to bass pro this afternoon to get a new trolling motor.
    Gonna try it again Thursday.

    Default Catcher, have you checked

to see how fishing line you have wrapped around the shaft? I've GOT to clean mine, suckers probably got a 100 yards of line on it

Dadgummit Don, Imahafta come down there and do a full inspection on that "rig" of yours. Leaving line on your prop shaft will tear up a decent motor. And especially don't leave it on there on the big motor. It'll eat the shaft seal, flood your lower unit with water and bingo, bango, boatless bank trash until you can afford a $1500+ repair.
