a good knot for braided line. My brother Razor bass fishes and said you need to use super glue. If its that hard to tie a knot I want be using it.

Polymar knot the only way i tie it.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Polymar and you're good to go. Glue is only needed by gewbers that can't tie knots. Your brother bass fishes? Is he adopted?

    Default Try this one

How to tie a Grapevine Knot for fly fishing applications
had to lok up the name of it but I use this one on everything. Jigs, regular hooks, green carp lures and even to tie my fly line to my leader. I've NEVER had this knot slip. Keep it fairly loose on the braid until you get it snugged down, then tighten it up and snip off the extra line.

has ALOT of knots here and animated. Kinda like Jerrell Powe and going to Ole Miss, So easy anyone can do it. LOL. Remember what his mom said about him a couple years back? He's a good boy, he just can't read

I said Polymar knot dang it. But if you want to have some fun with your brother, insist that he use the Berkly Braid Knot. Then you can sit back and giggle watching him tie it.

Default Braid is easy to tie

I use it on my Striper pole. Good stuff for sure. I made the mistake of putting it on my darn bait caster on time. 1st throw and BACKLASH. You DON'T get a backlash out of a baitcaster

I am changing all my crank bait poles to braided. I have been using 17lb mossy oak line.

Figured I'd give the braid a shot on the CB trolling as well. Only problem is that it has so little stretch, you're apt to rip a few hooks out of a fishes mouth. Probably will work best with crappie type poles rather than light action spinnin/casting rods to make up for that lack of stretch.

wannabe I run 3 different length rods with Abu Garcia 5500 reels. 7 ft, 12 ft 14 ft, that way they don't get tangled up.

The braid on the 7 footers might give you some trouble with lost fish. There's just no give at all with the braid. I'm just saying.
