Wayne and I hit the lake this morning for about 4 hrs, first time we have been fishing since sometime in May, just can't take the heat anymore plus had a few health issues. The big motor would not crank, bulb was as hard as a rock and no gas getting to the motor, after I got home and cleaned the 10 keepers we caught I went out and tried it again and the thing worked fine. So we had to fish close to the ramp. Caught about 20-25 fish with only 10 keepers and about 7 were just 10" but no fresh fish for a long time we will be having crappie tomorrow. Started in 13-14 FOW with just the dinks and worked up lake and found the few keepers in 10-12 FOW. Orange head with blk/green bodies were best by far. Will hit the lake a few times next week if the wind is not too bad, sure felt good to be back on the water.

Now that's what I call Marine Fishing. Assess, Adapt, Overcome!

Sounds like you took lemons and made fillets out of 'em.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
