    I called it today before we ever wet a hook. I just didn't feel like fighting it, and the protected cove are pretty much fishless...Spent 2 days trying them already... I give up. Come on summer time.

    water @ cutoff all the way to levee..the road to charlies is completely under water. memphis guage @ 37 and projected to go to 39 or 40. Voluntary evactuation was requested yesterday after 2nd person this week drowned there.

    I agree with everyone. This past month has been filled with ups and downs- mostly downs. The wind has been crazy lots of days and with a storm/cold front moving through about every 3-5 days the fish are confused- just like me. I have had several mediocre fishing trips and one or two great ones with a bunch of terribles mixed between. Come on weather and settle down.

    Went to the ocean today (Arkabutla) caught 5 big males all in 2ft of water only problem is wind and more water than the fish know what to do with!!!!!! did not catch any 2 fish in the same bed or heck even area.
