We just got a brief rain here in Hernando. Nothing substantial
Hopefully it will dissipate pretty quickly. Neither the fishermen nor the growers need any more rain
Looks like most of the bad stuff is staying to our west. Weather.com has the rain ending a little after midnight in Hernando. Still a little windy in the AM, but maybe this won't dump alot of water this far south and east.
Anybody down in N. Mississippi (near Arkabutla, Sardis, Enid, etc) wanna chime in with how bad its been down there? Much rain? It hasn't even started raining here in Cordova yet.

The Farmers are worse off than us fisherman are right now. I got a bunch of buddies who are worried sick about this weather
Its Foolish and wrong to morn the men who died, instead we should thank God that such men lived.

We just had a little rain shower.
In Grenada, nothing but a little shower in town over night, must have been a small one. Nothing to the west of town, but a dust settler in town. The corp reports .14" in the last 24 hours at the dam. This is as of 9AM.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
We had storms on and off all night in Southaven. I'm not sure how much rain we got but it seems like it was a lot. I had water standing all over my yard this morning.
We've dodged most of the weather so far. It's not looking so good for late this afternoon however.
We got about a 10th this morning. Moved through fast ( thank god). I think this colder weather will push the fish out in some deeper water. The males will prob stay shallow being on the nest. Should be able to pick up some big females in deeper water out from spawning areas.

Guys, that's some good info on the Sardis/Ganada area. Thanks. Just to let you know - as I said in another post which you may not see - I'm 85 mi. s of St. Louis on the Miss. and I dumped a hair over 6 inches from my gauge yesterday. Started Thurs. early am and quit about 6-6:30 last night. Three weeks ago school was called off because of RAIN (9+ inches in a 24 hour period), and since then any rain we get just heads down your way - no place for it to go here, just too saturated. Question: Will this rain/cold/windy weather slow the spawn? or will the dump in deeper water? I'd like some opinions on that if yawl would. Thanks - Jim
We got 2 inches yesterday in Tunica, and it's been threatening rain all day. If we got it here I know that it fell around arkabutla
