Hello. Any latest reports on Sardis? Heading down on Easter with wife and younguns. Would like to catch a few. Put allot of brush out this winter but think it is barely under water. Thanks Kevin

Caught a few fish sat/ sun in lower lake. south side near willows. Temp was low 50's should turn on this weekend. Cold front must have turned them off. Sonar showed fish everywhere.
Caught a few out from toby tubbie but wind pick up an had 2 move on sunday!
Now they're predicting 3-5 inches of rain through Wednesday night. Lake should rise fast. It's already 5+ feet over rule curve. Weather for weekend predicted to be cool with north wind. Sounds doubtful for much catching this weekend at Sardis. Water temps are in low 50s in the coves, I hear. All of this should make for some good fishing by the first of April if the wind allows us to fish and the Corps is not able to drain too much of this good water out.
Maybe with this rain we won't have to play bumper boats this year. Last year it was tuff all over.
Im hearing of some great catches there. Good numbers and weights.
" I practice catch and Release....into the grease."
Over 2" of rain last night in Oxford, lows thru the weekend are predicted to be 30's and low 40's with north winds. Doesn't sound like conditions are going to be great!
However, some folks will always catch fish somewhere on Sardis.
