Sardis most likely be a bust this weekend. The lake is very muddy now and rising fast. Tomorrow the rains move back in. Forcasters are saying heavy rain 2-3 inches.

Caught a few fish sat/ sun in lower lake. south side near willows. Temp was low 50's should turn on this weekend. Cold front must have turned them off. Sonar showed fish everywhere.

    Default Sardis - March 18

Now they're predicting 3-5 inches of rain through Wednesday night. Lake should rise fast. It's already 5+ feet over rule curve. Weather for weekend predicted to be cool with north wind. Sounds doubtful for much catching this weekend at Sardis. Water temps are in low 50s in the coves, I hear. All of this should make for some good fishing by the first of April if the wind allows us to fish and the Corps is not able to drain too much of this good water out.

Maybe with this rain we won't have to play bumper boats this year. Last year it was tuff all over.

    Default Sardis

Over 2" of rain last night in Oxford, lows thru the weekend are predicted to be 30's and low 40's with north winds. Doesn't sound like conditions are going to be great!

However, some folks will always catch fish somewhere on Sardis.
