I don't know anyone that far south that fishes for crappie. All the members on the state's gun website are going after red fish now.
I’m here for training at Keesler AFB in Biloxi until May 9th. Haven’t fishing in Mississippi before and would love to fish. If no one is available, it is all good! Thanks for reading. Tight lines!

To really experience MS crappie fishing you probably want to be north of I 20. Ross Barnett, Grenada, Enid, Sardis. Long way from Biloxi though. Not trying to hate on southern MS I know there are guys who catch decent fish down there. May want to post on Louisiana board as well. They got some good crappie fishing as well closer to Biloxi. I will transition this week from spider rigging / livescope to power trolling, possibly cranks on Sardis. It's well over 5 hours from Biloxi though. Fish will be a post spawn funk as well. Hopefully you find someone to go with.

Respectfully speaking we have Fantastic Crappie fishing we just don't tell everyone about it. I already have plans to go with another CDC member in Biloxi so I'm out. BTW our fish tastes better too, tidal river fish are sweeter, firmer, better tasting. I keep a camper on Ross Barnett and fish it regularly too. Fish are bigger but taste like Catfish compared to a Tidal River Crappie.
As far south as I remember members posting were at Okatibbee Lake, north of Meridian. I haven't seen their postings in years.
