    Default Sold my camper

I bought this used 1998 camper in 2011 for $4,000. Have made repairs and yearly maintenance. Last time using it once for a 2 night stay in 2022. Have talked about selling it lately since we didn't use it last year and my wife isn't able to go. Thought about getting it cleaned up and run an ad for $4,000 and take the best offer.
My youngest brother-in-law had dementia and died 2 weeks ago. No one in the family has the $14,500 for the funeral, we paid the $1,300 for cremation. Waiting for his son to sign the release since brother or sister aren't next to kin.
I've been dealing with the oldest brother-in-law since this started, almost 2 years. His stepson is in need of a place to stay. He bought an old camper for $5,000, for some reason it caught fire and was gone before the fire department arrived. He got another camper for $3,000 but it's junk. My brother-in-law asked what I planned to do with ours. Sell it. How much? I figure $1,000. Get our stuff out, no cleaning and have it out of our way.
Got a lot of camping stuff and double stuff for the house to do something with. Most likely sell it at the auction house.

I went to Brother-in-law's house yesterday to see where I'd be parking the camper. Got to talking with the stepson. Found out that he had 150 ft of 12 gauge extension cord powering the burnt camper. Yep, low amps will do it every time.

I delivered the camper and left it in the driveway. Brought wire/amp charts and calculated wire size needed from panel. The other stepson is an electrician and they will take his word for the job. Think he's more of a wire pusher.

I drove down to collect first payment, no one at home. 150 ft of 12 gauge underground wire barely underground, will that pass code? No.
The underground wire is crimped to the camper plug and taped. No receptacle or breaker panel, will that pass code? No.
If you build or have anything placed on your property a permit may or may not be required.
If you hire electrical run to that building a permit and inspection is required.
If you run electrical to the building a permit is not required, an inspection is needed on any wiring from your home.
