    They are going to try to maintain the guide curve. Right now it's almost 3 feet above that. The COE doesn't look at recreation or fish population on flood control lakes. They try their best to maintain a healthy population, but not their number 1 goal.


    Just been a dry spring. It's not going to necessarily mess up the spawn, only means they are easier to get to when not in flooded brush. It comes down to ethics of the fishermen, don't be greedy and only take what you need. The wind has been in favor of the fish mostly this month.

    I knew they followed the guide curve, but I've never seen it to know what it looks like. Looking at the past two years at this time the level was 4-8 feet higher, and 3-4 years ago it was even higher. 215 is full pool and its at 207 now. I'm just wondering if they're gonna open the gates now that the lake is finally rising a little.
