    Default Some days your up

Some days you’re down. Saturday was a down day. Wind beat me up and I was limited to about 500 yds from
The north bank and stuck in a spot with few fish. But even if it had been a gold mine, I don’t think the wind would have let me get enough for a gold tooth. Only had 6 on the day. But the good news is, I didn’t have any big fish so cleaning them
Was a breeze. . And it wasn’t for a lack of effort. Fished from 9:30-4:30.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

I chickened plum out. Had boat hooked up and loaded, got up at 4:00. Situation I’m in, was gonna have to run bout 6 or 7 miles open water, the more I sipped coffee and listened to the wind howling outside, just got an uneasy feeling and decided nope. I used to enjoy the challenge, but guess I ain’t that mad at em anymore. Maybe this coming weekend will be better.

I had things to do. That was a good reason not to go. There will be plenty of opportunities. I'm not in a rush.

Your flat tuff to be able to stay out in a wind like that for 7 hours !
makes for a very ruff day for sure ! 3 hours and I was headed to the house the bite was decent but lite and the wind was brutal and the early rain got it all wet and I sure didn’t dress accordingly ! Decided it would be a whole lot warmer and much dryer in my recliner! Lol
    Too blessed to be stressed!

I guess the thrill is dwindling to fight wind , low water and idiots at boat ramps . Finally went to trace to run boat and check it out last Friday . Will fish 3 days a week after Easter .

I got up at 5:30, turned the coffee pot on and heard the wind chimes out the kitchen window. They ring with a 7 mph wind out of the N or SSW. Sat down at the computer and could the wind chimes out the window. They ring with a 14 mph wind out of the NNE or S. Oh well, doctor this tooth ache and load some ammo.

I had planned on fishing today. 50 mph wind gusts changed my mind. Still not easy to launch by myself but I can get it done

We were down from Kentucky. We fished Thursday thru Saturday. Had a great time but it was tough.
