Folks will come maybe 5 may be 25 or more it’s hard to get folks to commit in advance! that’s the only way we have been able to have a few successful ones that we have had ! It takes a lot of work putting things together but for the most part so far folks has been willing to pitch into the hat and help with the expense once’s it’s all done . Our biggest obstacle with planning these ahead is the weather! Seams like crankfest kelp getting bigger and bigger the date was set then folks would show up from everywhere the comrade was always good made several friends and met lots of great people ! We need each other to help us stand strong and not let the keep us apart!

Would be great to see who viewed the thread and their location.
I think the media websites have done a lot of damage to .com websites. A person can post photos of their catch, sales and business without others knowing their location or a special thread they should be entered in.
I've hosted 2 gatherings in the past. I'll help all I can for the person that wants to start new. It does take a lot of work for 1 person.
First a host. This person sets up the dates and locations. Check for restrictions. Answers all online questions.
A person or 2 that contacts sponsors and other businesses for door prize donations. Reports to host ever so often.
A person to arrange location/s for group meal/s. Set up and run the food supply check list. Reports to host ever so often.

I would most likely come to Crankfest again all the way from Ohio. Hard to lock in at this point. I know some KY members who would most likely also come to Crankfest
