That’s what I get for bragging.
Was doing OK and had 10 in the
Box, then the wind went slick and the bite changed more finicky. Had to hang it in their face and let it soak then they would ease up and nip it. I must have missed 25 in a row. Finally, I missed 5 hard bites from keepers in a row and even rolled 2 at the surface. Went to
Reset my weight and and noticed the hook was broken off at the shank. Whoops. Went from catch and release to straight release. Still better than hunting though.
