Can’t help you with personal experience but there are lots of You Tube videos out on bream/cracker fishing on Reelfoot. Here’s a goodun…
Would like to hear from those who have fished this lake for bream . Best times to go ? better to hire guide ? baits ? Catch both bluegill and red ear ? best places to stay ? Take boat or rent ? wanting to schedule now for next spring / summer . Feel free to send pm . if you have had negative experiences of any kind . Not wanting to bash anybody , just looking for most bang for buck .

Also Jeremy Mattingly host of On The Hook and Crappie Monster found on Fakebook might be able to give you some advice as Reelfoot is his home lake.

Coach, Reelfoot is an awesome bream lake. Fish around Lilly pads and you’ll wear em out. That being said, the best boat to use on the Foot is someone else’s boat. Ya can’t help hitting stumps and cypress knees. Last time I had my boat in there, I bent a prop shaft. Swore I’d never put my boat in there again

when to fish, when im not on the lake. What to use, anything other than what im trying. Lol.
I've only bream fished there once, and it was 30 years ago. Me and a buddy stopped in Airpark/State Park area of the Upper Blue Basin, rented a john boat (I had an electric trolling motor and battery) and just went along the grassy banks there in mid-April dunking crickets 2 feet under a bobber tight to the grass. Caught 50 or 60 big bream in a couple hours. Pretty sure all of them were bluegill, but there may have been a shellcracker or two in the mix.

You can take my boat. I’ll rent it for $200 for the weekend. Just be sure to bring it back clean and full of gas. And I’ll need a 45,000 security deposit.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
