Saw that on the news . What a mess . Wonder if the fines pay the expense to clean up ?
Wondering how quick that will dilute and how much impact it will have? Something like 3000-5000 gallons up around Florence. With 19,000 cfs +
going through, seems like it would be gone pretty quick, but ???

I don’t know how the fines are here or Alabama. But probably nothing like up north. Some people I knew of had a snowmobile go through the ice In Minnesota. Besides nearly drowning, seems there were several thousand in fines, and a dui for good measure

I used to fish there at Mcfarland park. It will clean up fast. Lots of current. Very little effect. The local news said about 100 yards of beach was closed to swimming as a precaution and boating could carry on. Catching most of it with a boom float and siphon.
