Grenada this weekend

Camping at Grenada North Abutment this Saturday. Is the area around there decent to fish for crappie? I don’t want to run far or trailer way around some where to fish. Staying on the main lake side campground. Fished Grenada once before at Graysport last Labor Day. I noticed on Navionics some flooded timber just out from ramp figured I’d try there first.

The lake is at 215.28 ft, north abutment ramp is good until lake is at 207 ft. I'd launch there and head in most any direction. Find deep enough water that's holding fish and start fishing.
We might be at the spillway Saturday, may come by for a sitting spell then check out Spain's before leaving town.

We hit spains yesterday about 530-6. Packed house. We had forgot some stuff. First time in years I’ve shopped in a grocery store and some one brought groceries to car and put inside. Kinda of nostalgic.

Slept in and hit lake but couldn’t stY long as storm was rolling in. Kids were kayaking and I was just playing follow the leader. Was gonna hang couple jugs off the side but they wanted to pack up and head in.

I watched an auction Friday night. Ended at 9:30 and I headed for bed. I planned to get up early and head south. Woke up at 9:45.

Went back late afternoon but motor wouldn’t run so started trolling two cranks and two double rigs with jigs. Almost made it to where I thought I’d catch a couple and shower came through. So I turned around and headed back to ramp. No luck but bad luck.
