I will be staying on the lake for softball tournament during this time. Any decent locations for bank fishing where I might catch a crappie or 2...? Or are there any places that rent boats? I will be pulling and enclosed trailer so will not be able to bring my boat...
I will be staying close to bridge at Pelahatchie.

I told this to someone else and they did pretty good. I've never fished the lake. I've looked at lake maps, google earth and have been across Hwy 43 bridge once. Park at the Goshen Springs boat ramp and walk to the bridge. If you're fast you might be able to drop your tackle off then park. Can't fish from the bridge so get on the west side rocks at the bridge. Use the bridge as 12 o'clock, cast at 10 to 12. You'll be casting at the welfare hole.
