Is the law still the operator of the boat can’t be drinking but everyone else can? I’m usually by myself when I go but I do have a friend that goes from time to time.

I’ll actually be either on the White River or returning from Arkansas this holiday weekend. I honestly don’t recall consuming alcohol on the Rez, so it doesn’t affect me anyway.

Don't know about all waters. On the big 4 they are COE lakes and not suppose to have any alcohol. Guess that could include the waterway.

Years ago at the Tail Race campground at Pickwick a member of our fishing group filled his cooler and placed the empty carton in the fire pit. A ranger for TVA came by and saw it. Joe had to pour out all his beer. Dang, fresh 18 pack.

None for me in the boat. I still have to drive home. The expense of that ticket would buy a new boat

Well, change of plans. I will be close to witness some of the follies. Going to piney grove boat ramp on bay springs to launch and beach the barge - today is the day to replace bunk boards on trailer. If anyone is out that way stop and visit. I’ll be the scruffy looking guy in the parking lot beating banging drilling sweating and probably cussing But the beer will be at home in the fridge ocifer…
