I fished the gravel pit and the area behind Bayou Point ramp in my kayak last week before the rain hit. Use 12 different colors of grubs, did about the same on all. Caught 45 shorts no keepers. Largest was 11 7/8".

Getting old, paddling wears me not and the seat height gets to my legs.
Waiting on registration to return so I can mount a motor. Got the seat raised a bit. Waiting on parts to be delivered.

Ought to be some good catches since they are reducing the lake as fast as they can with the flash flood warning. 4,378 cfs is about the highest discharge I've seen.

Your right cane it could be good for the fisherman and bad for the fish. Because this drawdown will bring the fish out of the Ironwood and they’re in a feeding frenzy after the Spond. but more important the dam needs to be taken care of.

Reading this alert, it’s saying that it may take 2 to 3 years to repair the damage is that also saying or does that mean that they will keep the lake at 210 ft or thereabouts for that length of time?
