So I use a regular Echomap 93sv to Sidescan with. Once you see a likely prospect of trees or structure using a Fishfinder on the bow, preferably with a GPS to mark it with when on top but not necessary. Set the Fish Finder to 2D (Color) with a combination output like 83/200 or 50/200 whatever your fish Finder combination settings are possible, also turn on the "A Scope" or I forget what Humminbird call it but the real time sonar RTS window. Troll using your trolling motor right on top of the Structure till you see it in the A-Scope or RTS window. Vertical fish right down the side of your trolling motor. You will be on top of the Structure as long as you keep it in the A-Scope or RTS window. I can't teach presentation over the internet but my description of presentation above fills my coolers every trip. I do not post all the fish I catch as then I will look like Ketchn. Read what he posts as there is Gold in his ramblings about presentation, technique, etc.

BTW The PS22TR Panoptix Transducer was designed to work with a regular 92sv-95sv standard definition. No Echomap Plus or Ultra is needed.

Again thanks for the info. Maybe when I am around Mississippi Gulf Coast we can connect. If you ever want to come over to the Alabama Delta and jerk some paper lips let me know. To be honest I have been moved here from Mississippi since 1993. I made a commitment a few years ago to learn these fishing waters better. Truth is I finally got it a few years back. These waters are much more challenging than the Mississippi waters you are fishing. I still keep and fish more in Mississippi as I get more fillets over there. As a matter of a fact I have one honey hole over there that I only keep about 5 or 6 fish as one or two is all me and my wife can eat. It’s closer to my native home town of Purvis Mississippi.
Also locals definition of slabs here is very different from over there. I haven’t really figured out how to add photos to this sight yet. But if you will send me a way to share with you I would love that. Again your wisdom is priceless.
