Default Words to the Wise, from well not one to Wise

Keep a back up remote for your I pilot TM. And oh yeah, remember to put the drain plug in before launching the boat!

Got to ramp early this morning to get the boat in the water before my fishing guest and his daughter arrived. Figured 5:25 am I be the first Mohican. Boy was I wrong. Got in a hurry to launch and didn't check the plug was in. Sitting at floating dock and noticed water bubbling up from drain in the boat. So quick back trailer down and drain the water, took almost 15 minutes.

Back on the water and get to our fishing spot to find the remote control for my ultrex was showing a RF Error code. Quick search on Google and first words were fatal code meaning she gone. So using foot control we managed a decent mess. The remote is a lot more convenient. So just a little advice. Funny thing I thought about ordering an extra remote remote my last trip a couple weeks back. I got 6 years out of it and the text on buttons are all but about gone. Happy fishing and boy take care in this heat!

Download the app for your phone. You can use it as a remote. My buddy can control my boat with his phone if I have my hands full.

I have used the phone also. Absolutely not as convenient as the remote but it is doable for sure

Well I'll be. Does the phone app have to pair with the tm each time it's used or powered up?

Only reason I ask is some of the guys I know if they had access to my tm from a short distance would cause some heck of a ruckus, if fishing close by in another boat.

Vice versa to be honest, I would turn a guy on a dime as well! Be a good laugh!

I believe the app has to connect each time. If you phone closes the app will have to reconnect when you open the phone

What app do I need to download on my phone?
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.
