Well us MS Coastal Crappie aren't slacking, the fishing has been on fire lately. With gas prices what they are I've been fishing out of my 14ft Tin boat burning the Crappie up. The salinity has finally come up pushing the crappie up the rivers. Yesterday every alligator grass patch I stopped at had 1/2in minnow hatches around them. Clouds & clouds of new minnows, food to grow our crappie. I'm catching an unusual amount of 3-4in crappie, when do you think they hatched? This year's fish or stunted last year's fish. They are very skinny.

I made it back out yesterday afternoon with a buddy and knocked 12-15 keepers in the mouth. Big fish of 2.49. All released to say hello again. Beautiful afternoon with no wind. Up yours Mr. Weatherman. Take that! What? He’s not nice to me so why should I be nice to him. Besides, he started it.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Too good a day to pass up. I tickled the chin of another 15 or so this am with a big fish of 1.94. The fog fishing made it a fun day.
