    Default Enid Report

Coming to Enid for the first time April 2-9. I've fished Washington for the past 30+ years, but looking to try some new waters. Might jump around to Sardis and Grenada if Enid isn't cooperating. Anyone have any fishing reports? I'm a single pole guy (no livescope) and I wade. Any advice is appreciated.

Enid is lower than normal. Might affect the wading. However, we’ve had a couple of good rains recently so it may rise enough to cover the cover. If they close the gates, that is. There’s a new man in charge of the big 4 and he seems to want to keep the levels lower.

I'll be staying at the state park cabin C08 April3-7th. I would be glad to tell you what ever we are doing to catch them. I'm hoping the water rises some by then. If it stays low we will kill them but it will be crowded. We single pole or wade only. This will be our 7th year in a row going the 1st week of April. You are timing it perfect. This also goes for any of you Crappie.com members. Come on by the cabin CO8 and say hello. Cold beverages and good eats and stories, some of which may be true.

How did you end up doing Enidman? The bite was slow for us so we jumped around between Sardis, Enid, and Grenada. Ended up limiting out a couple days at Grenada and just missed our limit at Sardis. Don't think we ever broke 20 at Enid on any one outing.

We were averaging 10 to 13 keepers a day, but catching around 30 to 40. Still averaging the same numbers now. Fished good Friday and will be hitting them again end of this week.
