Xpress boats and seadek

I’m in the market for a new boat and have looked at the Xpress boats with seadek instead of carpet. Anyone have any experience with this decking? Pros cons? I’m looking g for low maintenance and hopefully minimal wear and tear. Name: 802C2768-69F7-4F1C-8534-87E1159B6EE3.jpg

I had this on my pontoon deck and loved it. Always thought my next fishing boat would have it.

ONLY way to go IMO. I don’t have seadek in mine but do have hydroturf (the seadek is probably a little nicer) in mine and I can’t ever see myself going back to carpet.

I love the stuff. My tin crappie boat is all camo seadek and the new Blazer boat I'm building will be all SeaDek.

So many boats to choose from. The one's with carpet I mention SeaDek to them and they pretty much say they'd never have it. Gets hot. Melts. Comes unglued. Slippery. hard to really trust anyone since I know they're trying to push their own boats.

Works with the seller as well. They will downplay anything they are not trying to sell. Theirs is always better than the competition’s.

SeaDek is the best thing I have put on my tracker. Self installation was easy, results are fantastic. As with anything else, proper prep work is critical for excellent results.
