I bought a Xpress less that yr ago and like you had questions about seadeck... i just couldn't make my mind up. I keep my boat inside my shop and so my carpet on my last boat lasted long time cause i took care of it. I didn't know how seadeck was gonna do over the years of use vs knowing about carpet. I went with carpet. I don't think there is a wrong answer for what you decide....here are some pics with carpet.

Were you able to order and have that trolling motor installed by the dealer? Most all the one's I've looked at come with a standard TM and you have to pay for it and then buy another one to have installed.

Man I ordered everything and had dealer install everything...i can do minor mechanical stuff and on old boat I would tackle things like that but on brand new boat with expensive electronics decided to let them do it....I bought from Sunrise Marine Searcy Arkansas

Whatever you decide to do I would suggest going with one of those two brands. I installed cut groove mat in my stick steer boat three years ago and it looks great. However, my boat is older and I didn’t want to spend a lot on it. I looked around and bought three 4x6 sheets with 3m backing from blacktip. Maybe it’s just the blue mat but it bleeds horribly! Everything that brushes up against it has blue marks. I’ve washed and scrubbed it multiple times and I still look like Papa Smurf after a day in it. It’s not going to be fun stripping everything off to change it. I prepped it right when I installed and that 3m backing is strong!
