It will depend on water levels when you come as to where the fish are if it jumps high like the last few years you will need waders... March April and into may they could be spawning...

I need some advice...
I'm a walleye fisherman from North Dakota who loves to jig fish and slip bobber walleyes, but I love to fish new places also. I have a bucket list trip of fishing for crappies on Grenada Lake.
I know nothing about spider rigging so I am looking for any advice about jig fishing crappies and bobber fishing crappies.
When is a good time to come south and fish crappies with bobbers?
Do you jig fish them around exposed trees?
I don't need your honey hole or gps coordinates just a general idea of when to come enjoy a week on Grenada Lake...any and all info is appreciated.
