Pack well, bring cold weather gear, rain and or spring time clothing. Could be in the 60s with sunshine with little wind one day and in the 40s overcast, rain and heavy winds the next. To me being comfortable in the conditions outside is the most important thing in early spring. Come prepared in short, other that it's anyone's guess on what the fish will be doing. Should be a good time to try them, good luck and be safe!
Thanks for your info is there a boat ramp close by Wallace Creek?

Based on the water level, fishing around Wallace creek can be great. Plenty of single poling there. Wallace has it's own ramp.
Wallace Creek has a ramp; there is a nearby ramp at McCurdy point that has a courtesy dock. Bait and grocery between the two. Although I live in the Memphis area I keep my boat at that lake in order to fish out of Wallace Creek every time I go. Should be great.
What is the best lake (water level) to catch crappie at Enid Lake?
dang I'm getting the jonesing for going down to MS in march and getting in on the big girl ketchn!
Water levels change almost daily. It’s hard to pick a best level. Depending on season, you just have to find them or depend on past knowledge. I used to keep a ledger for Grenada where I recorded date, water level and location. It got too tedious to keep up with. Long story short, you can catch fish at Enid at any water level if you know where to look.

Second week of March last year there were bunches catching bunches wading in the trees near Water Valley ramp. I prefer staying in my boat!
