With 133 folks viewing I'll take it that the MS coast is dead in Feb and no one is recommending going out and giving it a try!
Hi folks. Family is looking to make a trip to Biloxi in Late Feb. Would be interested in a guide trip for Reds or whatever is in this time of year in that area. Any guide suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Just not much crappie action going on down there. Most people on this site are crappie fishermen.

Sorry I can't help you Bob.....i have not been down on the coast for probably 20 years or more.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Bob, most of the inshore fishing toward the end of Feb will be for redfish, sheepshead and large black drum. Most of speckled trout are still in the rivers and bayous.
My son owns a charter service out of Biloxi and takes most of his clients into Back bay (Biloxi bay), weather permitting, during that time of year. There are plenty of charter boats available online running out of Biloxi and the surrounding towns that can put you on fish.
There are quite a few people here on the coast that crappie fish, as I do, up the coastal rivers.

Thanks Terry, that's exactly what I was hoping to do is chase some red fish in the inland waters out of the cold winter surf.
