Ramp good to go. 5 in a long day is a big catch. Lots of small fish. Report from 3 boats down there today.
Can you launch there? Lake is at 244.6.
Any recent info is appreciated.

No, won't be there until next week. Water surface temp was 71 today. Fish scattered all over creation. Hope when the temp gets in the low to mid 60s things
will pickup. Three weeks ago they were catching 30 and keeping 20. Now they are catching 30 and keeping 4 or 5. The crews that are there have been there
a week and a half and are all reporting the same thing. All of them know what they are doing. All are spiderigging.
Tell'em I'll be there.
Thanks for the additional info, stormcloud. Hard to wrap my head around the change in the catch/keep ratios that changed in a short period. I'm gonna wait another week or two and see if water temps come down.
Strange year, but this is 2020 and ain't nothing been right about this year!
Fish on, Buddy!

Yep, very strange. Last year we killed the fish on cranks all summer and then powertrolling roadrunners in early fall. This year with same water temps, bite has been finicky for me. I'm thinking it may be an over abundance of bait fish as it seems that we're seeing a lot more on the screen than previous years.
Hey Catchum, is it any better at Sardis?
"If you ain't the lead dog, the scenery never changes" Unknown
Not really. They've been finicky also at Sardis this summer for me, lots of light bites. I'm back to fishing minnows there now and the bites are really light; barely see the tip of pole move. I fished the lower lake one day last week when wind was bad. I only caught a few but crappie in lower lake were slamming the bait. They were hitting so hard that they were jerking/moving my Millineum racks. Totally different from Upper Lake.
armyman thanked you for this post
The fish have been social distancing!
