More days than not I like having them extra few hundred pounds in the boat and not just including on me... Lol. Heavy means stability in my simple mind. I do see the benefits to lithium, lighter weight sure for some, but overall life cycles if correct / accurate are the biggest selling point. Checked out Miller Tech seems to be the most reasonable priced on the market. Lot of money to drop at once, but if for sure they last 8 to 10 years they would be worth it long term. Good luck, sounds like you are satisfied at this point. Like the fact of not buying a special charger as well!

I can say I went with John last weekend and we pulled cranks from 6am to 2:30pm in a constant 10-15 mph wind. When we finished I think the batteries were still over 60%. My AGM batteries would have been struggling.
