Depends on the lakes situation. The big 4 for instance you can be catching them on beds in 3’ of water and 2 weeks later lake rises 7’ then your still catching them on those 3’ beds with 7’ on top of them. Now when you catch them all time to find shallow beds again. Only the original fish will be holding those 3’ beds that got the 7’ rise.
