Hello, We drove down from North Alabama and fished Saturday. It was 49 degrees and windy. We had 3 fishing and only managed 7 in the boat. Our guide heard from several other boats fishing that day and the most we heard of being caught was 10. I did manage to catch my new personal best of 2.5 lbs. We plan on going back in June. All the fish we caught were still full of eggs. Hope you have better luck that we did.
Tip number 1. Bring half as many clothes and twice as much money as you think you'll need.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

If you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can generally count on Paul's vote.
I have found Gomer Snerd's remark to be true for all trips whether vacation, fishing, hunting or camping. My wife an I have repeated the same mistake many times but I cannot convince my wife that we need fewer clothes and more money
