    Default Hugh White State Park Cabins best boat parking


    Coming is mid april. Anybody know/remember which cabins have the best parking.. seems like there are some that are on steep hills

    Stay away from #5 & #6 and the ones down hill next to them. Very steep for parking a boat. If you can, get one at the top of the hill closest to the office, #1 & #2, or #3 & #4. Better hurry Jimmy! Go to their website and view the map.

    You might want to stay away from some Calvin mentioned. Here’s the view back up the road towards the office. We had the cabin a couple down from the office and it was flooded by busted water heater. We got moved here for the entire Crappie Masters Nat Championship. Never worried about water standing in my boat.

    If you have a long boat, mine is a 24 foot SeaArk, cabin #1 is your best choice. I don't think I could have parked anywhere else. Also with a really long boat you can't make the turn at the bottom.
