I almost bought a boat with one on it, it was remote and everthing like a terrova but he guy thankfully was honest and told me that it may run for a day or it may run for 10 minutes but at some point in just about every trip to the lake it was going to give you problems.

I’ve seen mixed reviews on them. You can electric remote steering or you get one with gps built but seemed like it was straight line only. No contour following or spot lock. But most were love it or hate it. Really no in between. I looked a few YouTube vids on them too with mixed comments.

I had one on my old boat. It would run at low speeds for 3 days before needing charged. 3 all day trips. But at high speeds it wouldn’t last long at all. Sometimes the remote would stop working but if you pressed the reset button it would start working again. The worst thing was the noise. It was load. But for an 80 pound 60 inch shaft remote for 700$ I think I got my money out of it. Used it 2 years.
