How you do over the weekend
Man had a great time at Sardis this weekend. My fishing partner talked me into going back to sardis to fish tis weekend. I havnt been on sardis for several years.
We caught 17 on saturday morning and caught 21 this morning in about 2 hours.
Overall it was a great time. Not alot of fish but enough.
So how you all do this weekend ?
p.s just got through eating my first crappie this year , wow I have forgot how good these things are!!!

Man Reb you racked up. I met crappieslayer at Butla friday morning. It was a bit windy for him to fish the lake but i think he caught some anyway.Originally Posted by rebelduckaholic
As far as my weekend went, I met crappieman101 down at Butla and showed him a few places and then he took it from there and caught nice fish. He knows how to use a jig pole.
I did not go today. the weekend crowds are a bit much.

That's it Reb... We didn't do quite as good as you but we did manage to catch some fish. Caught 21 Sat. and 31 yesterday morning. Boy it was nice on Sardis yesterday until we left at 10:30... Glad I got to put a name with a face. Reb, you fish this morning??? I'm pretty sure crappieslayer61 and Slab2 are down there today.

Nope I am here but Reb said he was fishin today. And I am pretty sure 61 is fishin as well. That dude dont do anything but fish! Thought about goin turkey hunting at the lake this wknd but I think I am leaning toward going back and stayin at Sardis a few days and maybe hoppin over to Butla a day or two. I would like to get over there.
Oh and I caught 27 fishin alone Sat mornin and had a partner yesterday and we caught 34. When they quit it was OVER at least for us it was!

30 Sat. and 30 Sun. both days from 8- 12:30. But Saturday was the best because I had my 2.5 yr old with me and we had a blast.

slab2 went to butla yesterday afternnon caught 5 threw 2 back. water is muddy as hell but i guess it doesnt really matter down there. we were fishing stake beds and tops. there were some guys trolling around us in about 3 feet of water catching a few but they looked to all be small. we tried it but didnt catch anything but 2 cats and missed 2. i thing they were just trolling with jigs and no weight.

crappie123 I went this morning and I was in my boat and my dad was in his boat and we got around 50 and left at 9:45 to 10:00 somewhere around there
