    Default Mississippi Christmas

Me and my wife are thinking about spending Christmas in Mississippi, what is a safe lake level for Grenada, Enid or Sardis?

This would be our fourth trip but have never been with the water levels this low, any help would be appreciated.

Sardis and Enid are down to one ramp to put in . If they keep pulling it out at Enid you won’t be able to put in at all .

And that depends on the Core keeping the ramps cleaned off

Sardis is still four feet over winter pool of 236 ft. They've been pulling it down hard at about 1/3 of a foot per day and it's rising a bit now due to yesterday's rain. They're all dicey trying to launch at winter pool. Enid is close to winter pool now as is Grenada. I'd stay away from Grenada as it can be dangerous due to concealed shallow spots and obstructions just below the water's surface at winter pool. Sardis fishing is usually very slow when they're pulling it down this hard in the winter. Enid is probably your best bet for catching fish since they've quit pulling it down so hard, provided that you can successfully launch there. Both Sardis and Enid are safe for navigation at winter pool as long as you stay reasonably close (within 1-1/2 miles) to the dams.

DANG MS sounds dredful!!!!! Merry Christmas may God Bless your family. If you do come down bring plenty of clothes, Rainer and disposable income!!!!!!! The MDWFP could stock all the state lake's for health easy creek limits?????? Bring a big gun MDWFP micromanaged the whitetail deer!!!!!!! They're sick and all need to die. Fer a mere 125-400 y'all can carry home a truck load of those. Fish wait till June come down and crappie fish the USCOE reservoirs.

I can’t really say. I was single pole in there. But I know they been sucking fish in there the last few months. Didn’t see any carp.
