I just sold my lot there last year. The place has monster crappie in it but they are the strangest fish I ever fished for(the main reason I sold my place). The lake is very deep through 80% of it and it is literally nothing but a stump field. Before it was a lake it was a deer camp. When Wallace bought the place decided to make a lake out of it all they did was build a dam.....no tree cutting at all. So now that it is a lake the only running lanes are what use to be deer camp roads. The crappie have so many places to be it is next to impossible to find them. I spider rig exclusively so it was a non stop headache for me. Now in the winter all the crappie fisherman know where to catch the slabs there an to my knowledge its the only place people have found them. There is 1 Pier that goes out into the lake and blocks off a section of water(like a horseshoe). No one else can build one but that one is allowed to stay. He has logs and stumps hauled in every other year for cover and the crappie stay on it. I've caught a bunch sitting on the outside of it but you will catch a ear full if your caught reaching your pole over his pier or tying to it(I never have but just heard stories). Anyway, I didn't fish it enough to justify it so glad Im out. I'll stick to the Rez and Okatibee.
