Crappie Masters has spider rigging tournaments and single pole only tournaments. Wonder if they would consider having a few select tournaments where Livescope would not be allowed. Regular vs video game tournaments. In fact, maybe they could work with Atari and set up an online gaming tournaments. No boats or even rods required. All you need is an Atari joystick controller. You could fish any lake in the country from the comfort of your recliner. No longer would you have to worry about fishing pressure, creel and size limits.

Seems to be two types of people. Those that have it and those that hate those that have it. ¯\_(?)_/¯

No haters here. There will be one on my rig as soon as the Xmas bonus check is cashed for sure. Just making light of the "Livescope Phenomenon". Seriously tho I love that the ACT is an "anything goes" circuit while the Crappie Master Circuit has their one pole challenge tournaments. As a Nascar fan I like that there is 1.5 mile races and superspeedway races, and half mile races and love the road races. Maybe Crappie Masters adding a no livescope or no electronics tournament is not too far fectched. Adds a little spice to the gumbo. Just a thought. However if tounranments turn into 55 boats flying around fight pilot style (one guy navigating and scoping while the other sticks the target) spotlighting big fish then I am not sure how that promotes the "overall" sport. Just my 2 cents.

Rules state no underwater cameras are allowed. I know livescope is considered sonar but sure the heck looks like a great camera to me. I really enjoyed tourney fishing but this is ridiculous and it has pushed me out. It’s only my personal opinion but simply put it’s a matter of who has the most money for the finest electronics. They are pushing the blue collar fisherman into their own league...

i agree it’s taken a lot out of it for me as well. I feel like it’s taken a lot away from those who learned fish behavior and located fish faster because of knowledge. Now that doesn’t even matter. I’m not giving up I’m learning as fast as I can new ways of fishing with these new electronics. I don’t like it one bit though

simple. Don't fish tournaments that allow it. Fun fishing will still be fine without it. Just keep doing what you like and don't worry about the other fellows./ I can't see how it would help me much when I set out 5 or 6 dozen Yo-Yos.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
