Watch the wind. I’m sure some of the Grenada guys will help you out but it will probably be next week. Most are practicing for the tournament this coming weekend. It’s a great fishery

My Dad and I will be there for the first time that week also. So you won't be the only newbies on the lake
Be sure to pay for parking ! An elder friend of mine all excited about getting on the water to fish back in the early flooded spring didn’t realize that it was a pay to launch ramp until he came back to take out and received a nice welcome to Mississippi parking ticket !! Somewhere around 150 bucks I think it was!
And as bad as you will want to keep that fish that is dead on the 12" mark just go ahead and let him go! He will get you in alot of trouble!

I just fished there for the first time for crappie masters. Caught fish pretty much everywhere I dropped a line, but didn't catch huge numbers. Caught 2 of the biggest fish I've ever caught for sure. Spent most of the time in 11-12 FOW, but also caught them in 18 and 24. I caught a million catfish.
