Most of the time its thumped by the time your jig gets down there and then sometimes you have to hold it there for a minute or 2 😁 before it just makes them mad.
How long do most of you guys fish a spot like a bush or stake bed before moving on? Like let's say a special stake bed or bush that you usually always catch a fish on, before moving on to the next while single pole fishing. Do you think most people single pole fish, jig fish a spot or bush to fast?

15-20 MIN. TOPS WITHOUT A BITE . MAYBE WRONG BUT PATIENCE IS THIN WITH A UNIT FULL OF WAY-POINTS JMO.
I TRY TO MOVE .1 OR LESS AND I NEVER REALLY STOP . AT THAT SPEED YOU CAN CATCH A COUPLE ON A TOP OR STUMP . DOESN'T SAY I WON'T SWING AROUND AND GO BACK OVER IT . IF THEIR ARE FISH ON IT .
CATCH THEM ALL.

It all depends on the mood of the fish and conditions for me. Like Thump, I am constantly moving, ever so slowly. If I have located structure that has fish, I will hold there for a while. I will definitely stay on a deep water structure much longer than one in shallow water. Just my opinion

I always fish the same stump that Thump told me I could fish... Caught 364 off of it so far.. He says all of the others are his...

Dad taught me to keep moving. Catch one, slow down and work the area. Has worked well for me a long time now. My opinion is fish are biting somewhere. Why wait for them to come to you? This time of year, they usually hit it almost as soon as it gets in the spot.
