Thread: Now its time for a real topic

Lets take a poll. I know the fishing is some of the best in the country but lets get serious. The real reason I come to Mississippi is for the biscuits. There are many many valid candidates (and I have enjoyed them all) for this award but my choice for the best bait shop quick breakfast is hands down the Shell gas station in Oakland across the street from Country Catfish. Fried pork chop with fresh egg on a biscuit wrapped in paper and held together with a toothpick you can use for later. Not sure how those ladies can fit all that butter into one biscuit. And if you got time you can sit down and eat a full breakfast as well. Best part is they are ready before 5 am most mornings and they have a great minnow count. I plan my trips around the wind predictions and those biscuits.
