Nice catch.
got my usual early start at 9:00. went to where i thought the fish were moving to. caught one while putting poles out. then just a few here and there. one 5 ft in 8fow ... one 13 ft in 18fow. and in between. THEN the wind started. blew us from fishing where we wanted to, and made us fish where we could. found fish again instantly but small and few and far between. trying to upload a picture of the ones we kept. iphone not cooperating... kept 10 slabs

Nice catch.
Be safe and good luck fishing
I was out there too. That wind got strong really fast. I hate to leave fish but I couldn’t take it.

I would have loved to fish ol rex when the trees were still up. Bet those trees really made it more fishable. Now it's just a wide open blow when the wind comes in.

I was there also. Fished what I think y’all call the saw dust pile? Moved when the wind got rough and ended up with 12. Lost the biggest crappie I have ever had on my line at the boat trying to net it by myself. Broke my line on 2 more after that. Left and went straight to Bass Pro for some new line
