    Default Almost Ready

Well as you know I pulled my boat up from the coast to Meridian almost two weeks ago. Got the batteries all charged up and ready for a good test. Brought my ultra lite spinning rigs up and spent the last few evening cleaning rods, reels, stripping old line and generally getting the ready to go or identified as needing to be replaced. Saturday I bought new line (4# and 6#), some new jigs and bodies and a small box to store everything. Also bought a few floats (favorite method is casting a jig and float on ultra lite spinning ger) Yesterday I placed an order with Bass Pro for some more jigs and bodies. Order has shipped so I expect it to arrive tomorrow.

I am extremely busy right now starting up a plant so this cold weather and high water will hopefully slow everything down enough that I can get caught up and on the water before the spawn is over. I have been fishing salt water for the last 11 years and my fresh water gear just sat in the barn. Needless to say it was dirty and needed a lot of attention. I think I have enough serviceable equipment to give them a go but money needs to be spent to resupply my fresh water tackle and rigs. I can't wait to hit Tibbee for the first time. Love exploring new water.
