Best advice I can give is to hire a guide. One that concentrates on all of the big four north ms reservoirs. Go where he wants to take you.

If a couple Buddies were thinking about driving down to Mississippi from central Kentucky to catch some crappie. Where would you guys suggest they go? It would be in the spring probably April or early May. Thanks!

The pics will come of the big four catches as soon as the water gets right. Barnett is always an early lake with great fishing at times. It's not the premier big fish lake in the state...we all know that. Butla, nader, and sardis got that. Just for the record, almost all of the pros fishing the crappie.com championship fished in arkabutla and the winner came from arkabutla....Each man was free to choose any of the big four and fish there in the championship. That's the way it was. Believe I'm going to start speaking up more every time I see a positive report or a picture get trolled. It gets old.
Like the above post mentioned. Get a guide as they will take you to the lake that is producing the best. One week it will be Enid and the next week it will be Grenada. Then 2 weeks later it will be Sardis. The guides will know it and will put you on them.

If I could, I would fish Arkabutla all of the time... For numbers, it's Enid, but you will throw a bunch back...
