I called Fed Ex this morning to reschedule delivery to Tuesday, and the fellow assured me it was a done deal. Just checked the tracking number, and it says COMING SATURDAY!
I need to be working on my boat trailer, but cannot leave the house now... Fun fun fun!

Nothing seems to be able to avoid this train wreck of a delivery! Last night, in my last desperate move short of having to shoot the driver as he turns down my street, I went online to the FedEx site and placed a vacation hold on all deliveries to my address through next Tuesday... This morning the online tracking says the thing is still COMING TODAY! About to reach critical mass now!

Clifford you could have requested to have the package held for pickup either at the freight center out there in Richland or at any FedEx Office, or Ship Center location. Heck, most Walgreens are receiving and holding packages now. May not be to late to do that now.

I think they got it on hold now... Their tracking says it is in Pearl, and not on the truck for delivery, for now... I just hope they don;t lose it with all of the changes...

It appears that the crisis has been averted. Tracking info now says no delivery date scheduled at this time! WHEW... That was a close one!

Hope it’s not like one I had last week. RETURN TO SENDER.

And, on it goes... Scheduled delivery for today, and Da Wifey's insulin pump failed late yesterday. They are sending out a new one today, so she decided to work from home to wait on it... Trouble, trouble, trouble trouble......
Went out to work on the trailer yesterday afternoon, with hopes that I could finish it up, only to discover that one jack stand had fallen over and it was down on the new spring. I won't go into the details of everything it took to get it back up, but now I have the axle under it and the hubs installed. Just a little more, and we will be rolling again.
That is, if I survive the day!
