    Default Repeat of 2018?

It's beginning to look like we could get another high water spring on Big 4....good for the spawn but bad for the fishermen. Too early to tell I know but the high lake levels are beginning to concern me.

Agreed! Lakes in KY are at or approaching summer pool. Only time will tell but the rain keeps falling.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have a retirement plan...FISHING!

I had a great spring and hope we will have a good bit of water. Fishing is different during a high water year and maybe the numbers aren't limits every time out but it makes you fish for em.

The very first year I fished Grenada we caught them in the city limits of Coffeeville wading down old highway 7, heck that was the way I thought it was supposed to be, only seen it that hi once since then, 37 years ago.

I’d rather have the high water/ good spawn than low water and high funding pressure during spawn as long as water falls out slowly so eggs can hatch.

But I’ve only fished Enid once from a boat and that was in the late summer early fall.

I enjoyed the high water as it was fun hunting those crappie. When you thought a crappie couldn't be a thick group of vines then BOOM. I had a pretty good spring last year myself.

Was thinking the same thing about the high water this year. I enjoy having plenty of water to fish as well. Just think about the future, if we have two consecutive years of good spawns, then 2021 thru 2023 is going to be awesome!
